Autumn 1 Celebrating Harvest

In RE we are learning about the Harvest. Our Year 1 children harvested our vegetable plot. We found potatoes, beans, lettuce, beetroot, spring onions , basil and  parsley . We took them home to cook with our families. 

We explored how Jewish people celebrate Harvest. We made our own Sukka's using den building materials, shoeboxes, sticks and paper. 

We have also explored where our food comes from and even had the chance to try some different food from around the world!
