School Start and Finish Times

 


The school office is open from 8.30am to 4.00pm and the telephone number is 01282 614463.


Start times - pupils are to arrive from 8.45am onwards and must be in their classrooms by 8.55am, when lessons will commence.


Parents are to drop children off at the gate.


End of school day - pupils in Classes Pendle and Barley will finish at 3.25pm -any pupil who has an older sibling in school will wait in the school playground for their older sibling(s).


Pupils in Classes Marsden, Towneley and Wycoller will finish at 3.30pm.

SWAT Anti bullying and Wellbeing Creative Arts Event

Lesson: PSHE and citizenship

Class: Marsden Year: 2022 - 2023

On Wednesday 16th November 2022, our SWAT ambassadors attended a creative arts event held at Burnley Youth Theatre. The children explored anti- bullying strategies and discussed mental wellbeing through a range of artistic forms such as dance, drama, puppeteering, music and art. The children were exceptionally well behaved and made Mrs Romanska and I very proud with how they built new friendships, developed confidence and reflected on how we can all address bullying.

We can't wait for next SWAT Ambassador event!
